Description
Visceral, raw and unapologetically honest — Frustration is
a large scale figurative painting born from a single, deeply
felt emotion.
This piece explores the feeling of being trapped — of emotions
building and building with nowhere to go. Imagine a person
enclosed in an invisible glass box, fists pounding against
walls that won’t break, a scream that no one hears. The
frustration isn’t released. It stays contained, pressing
against the glass from the inside. That is what this painting
is about.
The figure screams against a fractured black and white
background of frantic brushstrokes — chaos held in check.
The only colour, a deep textured crimson smeared across the
eyes, is the one thing that cannot be contained. It bleeds
through. It always does.
Sometimes art is the only box that’s big enough to hold
what we feel.

Care Instructions
Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. Avoid
humid environments such as bathrooms and kitchens. Clean
gently with a soft dry cloth only — never use water or
cleaning products directly on the canvas. Handle by the
edges only.
If the canvas sags over time, lightly spray water on the
back of the canvas and allow it to air dry fully — the
canvas will naturally tighten back into shape.
